The Medical Plant Garden is a research and teaching facility located on the TANABE-Dori Campus. The facility consists of one office building and three greenhouses. The Garden contains more than 370 plant specimens on its 3200 square-meter harb ground. One associate professor, one instructor (of medicinal plant science) and several part-time technicians are in charge of the facility. Research objective of the facility is to investigate how to grow and keep important and precious medicinal plants through morphology, analytical chemistry and biotechnology. The Garden offers refreshing and pleasant atmosphere for people on the campus all the year round.
